Hey family and friends!  Hope all is going well wherever in the world you all may be!  Sorry for not writing last week....  This past week was a little crazy for me.  A lot going on.

Well, as you all have noticed, I will be home for Christmas.  Well, before Christmas.  Yep!  This is the last email I will be writing from here.  A little crazy...  Time has flown by and I´m a little sad that it is coming to an end, but at the same time, excited to see you all again!

The mission has been the greatest experience of my life.  It has prepared me for so much more than I could have ever imagined.  I really have grown to have charity for the people down here in Peru and I wish the best for them.  I wish that all would just accept the gospel!  But I will leave that all up to them.  I have learned so much that I can´t wait to put into practice at home.  I really love the mission and I know that it will help me face bigger challenges in life.  I really don´t know what to put in this last email!  There are just a lot of things and too little time.  I love you all and thanks for all the support and love you have all shown me during this whole time.  It hasn´t been the easiest thing I have done, actually it was rather hard and exauhsting, but it was worth it.  Each trial I have passed has helped me for the better and now I feel like I am more of who my Father in Heaven wants me to be.  This is God´s work.  He is our Father.  Jesus Christ is His son who knows us perfectly through his perfect atonement.  And I have felt just a little bit of his love through this work. I love you all and will see you soon!

PS: Here is a note from my mom!  Elder Aaron Augat is returning from Cusco, Peru, after honorably serving a 2 year LDS mission. Please join us in making Aaron feel AT HOME at an open house Welcome Home Party on October 7th between 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Don't feel obligated to bring food to share. We won't make you feel guilty. He will be so excited to see you!
