Week 39 - Contacting

Hey everyone.  Time keeps flying and we keep living.  Keep up the good work in the states.

This week was an interesting one.  We didn´t have very many lessons and for this reason we are looking like crazy for more people to teach.  We have been able to contact a good number of people this week which will hopefully help us with new investigators.  One of the contacts was really cool.  She thanked us for talking to her and she said that she is excited to hear our message.  Just because we talked with someone on the street.  The Lord really is preparing people to listen to our message.

Another cool experience that we had this week was that one day we set a goal to contact a good number of people.  Near the end of the day, we were one short of reaching our goal.  We took our recent convert to the chapel for an interview with the bishop and while he was in the interview, we waited outside of the chapel.  Out of nowhere, a family came up to the chapel and just stopped.  We asked them if they were looking for someone in the chapel and they said no.  We explained to them that we were missionaries of the church and they started to ask us a ton of questions.  I had the impression the whole time to show them the inside of the chapel and when the moment was right, I asked them if they wanted to come see the inside of the chapel.  They came in, asked questions, and now we are going to pass them to the other missionaries.

It was really cool to see how God just put someone in our path that was prepared to hear the gospel.  It was as if He said, ´´Here are some investigators, take care of them.´´  Thanks to the spirit, we were able to help them understand a little bit more about the church.

Other than that, we had a couple of lessons with an investigator named Daniel.  He is 17 and his mom is a less active member.  He is really cool.  He has friends in the church and everything.  This week we talked to him a little bit about baptism.  He accepted to be baptised on the 8th of August.  We will be working with him a lot so that we can have this baptism.

That´s about it for this week.  Have a good week everyone, be safe, love you all.
