Week 93 - Busy!

Hey Everyone!

First off, I´m sorry for not writing an email last week.... It totally spaced my mind.  But this week I remembered so no worries!  These past week have been pretty good and tiring at the same time!  There has been a lot of things to and we have been all over the place!  We have also been having to babysit some missionaries which is a joke...  I don´t know why some people just can´t take  care of themselves and be responsible!  But I guess that´s just part of being here!

So there hasn´t been a whole lot of new things going on here and nothing out of the usual.  We have been able to find a few new people to teach and we have also been able to put baptismal dates with a couple of them as well.  They seem pretty cool.  One of them is named Raúl.  He is about 50ish.  The other is named Fernando and is 19.  We are working with them so that they can get to their baptismal date with no problems!

Other than that, we have been visiting a couple named Benji and Helen.  They are both from here but they have lived in New York for some time (although they don´t speak so much English).  We have been working with them so they can get married and it just so happens that the rest of Benji´s family came from New York (who do speak English) and he decided to get married!  We still don´t know when, but we are excited.  Also, I forgot to mention that Benji is a less active and Helen isn´t a member.  So this means that Helen will be able to get baptized if they are able to get married!

Speaking about marriages, someone in my old sector in Sicuani (who I was able to teach while I was there) got married this past week and got baptized!  That was cool to see as well!

So just a cool experience that happened this past week.  We were talking with some recent converts about baptism because there son is 8 so he can get baptized.  As we were talking to him about that I was able to talk a little bit about why I got baptized and why I am gratefull for that choice.  It was really cool to feel the spirit confirm to me that it was the correct descision in that moment.  I was talking to an 8 year old kid but yet, I was able to feel the same spirit that I have felt in a lot of other places as well.

Well, thanks for all your support and love!  I love you all and hope you have a great week!
