Week 56 - Goal Of 8 Baptisms

Hey everyone.  It´s good to talk to you all again on this Monday.  It still hasn´t rained yet today so we are off to a good start!  As most of you know, we are in rain season and it rains daily now.  And where I am at, it isn´t so pleasent because it is freezing cold.  But I will live.

This past week we had interviews with our president and a training with the assistants.  It was pretty good.  We basically just talked about obedience and how we need to teach better.  They also set a new goal for us by the end of the year to have 8 baptisms for each companionship.  It´s going to be hard but I know that it´s possible.

This past week we put a baptismal date on 2 of our investigators for the 12th of December.  One of them is Jennifer who is 15 and the other is Jordy who is 12.  They both seem pretty excited to be baptized so hopefully we can follow through with these dates.

We have been looking for less actives like crazy this week so we have been in the ward directery a lot.  Most of the people say that they are resting or whatever it is.  My companion said something last night which is almost true.  He said that everyone thinks that resting or sleeping is more important than listening to a message about Jesus Christ that can change their lives.  It´s kind of sad but there isn´t a whole lot we can do if they don´t let us.

This week was pretty good.  Hopefully we can get even more investigators with a baptismal date this week as well.  Hope you all are doing well wherever you may be!  Love you all and thanks for all the support!
